So I Finally Started My UY Tv Series DVD Collection today...I got the first 12 episodes on dvd and im watching them as soon as i get off the internet. I always watched it on youtube but i wanted to have my own dvds since i have the other tv series of rumiko takahashi's like Inuyahsa and Ranma1/2. I figure everytime i get paid just put some money and buy alittle at a time til im finished. Just thought i would share the joy of getting them with other lumaholics.

Thanks..I finished the first three dvds...had alittle mishap with a bill i had to pay so my next check coming i will get another three. :]  Im doing three or four at a time...so slowly but soon will have all the tv series and then the ova's and then the movies...lol got a long way to go...  :D

My UY DVD Collection are very international, because in Germany there are no publishes of Urusei Yatsura. I have DVDs from the USA, Vol. 1 from Japan, some Italian DVDs and French DVD Boxes. Only Spanish DVDs are missing ^^.

A french tv dvd box vol. 1, which includes episode 1 - 26.



A original japanese uy tv dvd, which includes episode 1 - 4 (no subs).



There are two "beautiful dreamer" dvds, left the us (buyed last year), right the french (buyed in this november). Personally i prefer the french dvd, because the videoformat is in 16:9 (used the japanese remastered version), the us only 4:3 and the french dvd have many extras (booklet, a card, Mamoru Oshi Reportage, ab japanese mythology documentation, a interview with Akemi Takada, and UY stickers). The french dvd has also a 5.1 french dub, but the 5.1 dub is distorted. I have a dvd copy of the original japanese dvd version and they include also a 5.1 japanese dub and this is really clearer and better (UY 2: Japanese DVD Review).

I love the french cover of the DVD 1-26!
